Zoom Chairside Whitening System

The one hour whitening system as seen on ABC television hit Extreme Makeover. It can whiten your teeth up to 8 shades while you are comfortably sitting on your dentist chair watching TV, reading or even sleeping.

The main difference between the take home system and the in-office whitening system is simple. The home system is done in the convenience of your own home over a few day or nights. The in-office system is performed entirely in the office in one single visit. The complete procedure takes just over an hour. Our clinic does offer both whitening methods.

How is it done?

The procedure begins with a preparation that requires all soft tissues be protected, eye as well. Then the whitening gel is applied on the teeth and activated with the ZOOM POWER ADVANCED light. Increasing the effectiveness of the treatment gel of 33%. A five minute fluoride treatment complete the procedure (professional cleaning is recommended prior the whitening treatment).

Are there any side effects?

Some people may experience temporary tooth sensitivity during or after the whitening treatment. These symptoms disappear within 1-3 day after completion of the treatment.

How long does it last?

Your teeth will always be whiter then they were. However, a home kit will be given to you in case you may need or want touch-up re-bleaching for one or two day every 6 to 12 months.
